Flores de Oro is Cityboy Americana.

A curation of youth and optimism, shaped by the city.

Americana, reclaimed through our own stories.

Our Story

Our aesthetic is shaped by a mixture of vintage Americana, Japanese cityboy style, and West Coast ease — a blend as intentional as it is personal.

As second-generation immigrants, we believe that American culture is best when it is reinterpreted. Absorbed, adapted, and reshaped by new experiences and taste, into something far greater than its original form.

We've observed this happening throughout the course of American history, across fashion, sports, film, music, arts, and literature. Made popular in America, exported overseas, and imported back with new energy.

Reinterpretation is America's oldest tradition. We're just doing our part.

Our Name

Flores de Oro translates to "flowers of gold." It's the name of a street in our childhood hometown in Los Angeles. But it also means so much more.

Humans have relied on flowers and gold across generations and cultures. We've asked them to hold our grief and our celebration, our worship and our pride. We lay them at altars, wear them as crowns, asking for help when words fail us.

Where you find flowers and gold, you find evidence of a human life.

Gold that endures forever, flowers that remind you nothing does. Each beautiful in their own way, both have carried the weight of human experience as faithful stewards of the moments that matter most.

Our Thesis

The beauty of a life fully lived, built from everything we've loved and forgotten, and the courage to call it your own.

That's what makes the flower golden.
